August 2021 Lawn of the Month Winners

It’s time to announce our August Lawn of the Month winners! With the crazy two weeks we have had with unexpected pests on Virginia lawns, these lawns were able to withstand them and look great. As we enter into fall, we can’t wait to see how these lawns will progress. We would like to congratulate our winners, and thank you for being a part of the Virginia Green family! Remember, each month is a new chance to win $75 toward a future application.

First, we have the Bolton family from Mechanicsville, Virginia. The Bolton family have been with Virginia Green since 2015 and are a part of the Estate Lawn Care program. With their submission they stated, “Virginia Green has been successful in making and keeping my lawn weed free. My lawn is green and thick which makes it tough for weeds to get a hold of it. Thanks, Virginia Green.” You’re very welcome, Bolton family. Your lawn looks great this summer. You can definitely tell that weeds have no place in your lawn. Keep up the great work.

Second, we have the Lamison family from Midlothian, Virginia. The Lamison family have been with Virginia Green for a year and a half and are on the Premium Lawn Care program. With their submission they stated, “I love the way my lawn looks. It looks better than most of my neighbors’. Since I started using VA Green, l don’t have to worry about a lot of broadleaf and grassy weeds. My neighbors are always complimenting me about how good it looks. On two different occasions this month, my sister who lives in the far West End gathered up some of her friends, not to visit, but to see and admire my lawn.” We’re happy that you love the way your lawn looks, and we can definitely tell why your lawn is getting compliments and praises from people all over. It is looking fantastic this summer and as we enter into the fall.

Third, we have the Holloway family from Providence Forge, Virginia. The Holloway family have been with Virginia Green for the past four years and are on the Residential Lawn Care program. Your lawn is looking wonderful this time of year. Your deep green turf really makes your lawn stand out and your landscape is beyond appealing to the eyes. Keep up the great work.

Next is the DeWitt family from Glen Allen, Virginia. The DeWitt family have been with Virginia Green for three and a half years and are on the Premium Lawn Care program. With their submission they stated, “I have been with Virginia Green for a couple of years. I have always enjoyed a green lawn and look forward to driving up to my yard and getting compliments from friends on how good it looks. I used to take care of my lawn myself, but this never gave me time to plant flowers and enjoy it. Now, I get to enjoy my weekends and do what I want to do knowing my yard is going to look great. Thank you bunches, Virginia Green!!” You’re very welcome, DeWitt family. We’re so happy to hear that you now get to enjoy your lawn by doing the things you want to do; that’s the way it should be. Your lawn is definitely worth complimenting.

Now, we have the Muirheid family from Triangle, Virginia. The Muirheid family have been a part of the Virginia Green family for the past six months. With their submission they stated, “We love our lawn as it’s so plushy and green looking. The weeds are history! We love the company as they actually seem to care about what they do and take the time to talk to us about our lawn. Thanks!” Anytime, Muirheid family. That’s what we’re here for. If you ever have any questions about your lawn, always feel free to ask. We want your lawn to be one that you will always love.

Sixth, we have the Wolfe family from Powhatan, Virginia. The Wolfe family have been with Virginia Green for the past six years and are on the Estate Lawn Care program. With their submission they said, “We first want to say thank you for your service. We get so many compliments on our lawn from everyone that visits.” Your backyard is certainly worth visiting. Your deep lush green turf looks like a joy to walk on. I know your backyard pool parties are relaxing and fun.

Seventh, we have the Brown family from Newport News, Virginia. The Brown family have been with Virginia Green for two years and are on the Premium Zoysia Lawn Care program. With their submission they stated, “We have used Virginia Green for a little over two years now and they have done a great job making our empire zoysia lush and weed free. We get many compliments from our neighbors and our lawn definitely stands out from the rest. Thank you, Virginia Green!” You’re very welcome. It’s great to see a beautiful Zoysia lawn this time of year. We believe that your lawn does not compare to the others on the street. Keep it up!

Now, we have the Small family from Colonial Heights, Virginia. The Small family have been with Virginia Green for two and a half years and are on the Residential Lawn Care program. With their submission, they said, “Please accept a big thank you for our picture worthy lawn. It is a joy to admire, and the compliments are a bonus.” Mr. and Mrs. Small, your lawn is for sure one to admire as it’s thriving this summer. Congratulations on being an LOM winner.  

Ninth, we have the Bandy family from Chester, Virginia. The Bandy family have been with Virginia Green for a year and a half and are on the Estate Lawn Care program. With their submission they stated, “We moved to the Chester area from Tampa Bay in March 2020 and immediately started using Virginia Green (thanks to our families’ recommendation). Virginia Green keeps our yard looking wonderful so we can spend more time with our family. We have two young children under 2 years old so having a company we trust to keep the yard healthy is important to us. Thanks for the wonderful service!” We understand that family is important so allowing us to treat your lawn so you can spend more time with them is much appreciated. Your lawn looks stunning and we couldn’t have done it without your help.

Last but not least, we have the Sessoms family from Hayes, Virginia. The Sessoms family have been a part of the Virginia Green family for four months and are on the Premium Warm Season program. With their submission they stated, “In addition to the beauty my lawn provides, my wife loves walking or running in it with her pug. I especially like the fact that all I have to do is cut the grass.” Your lawn is a true beauty like no other! Your Warm Season turf has been able to withstand the heat and rain of summer. We’re happy to hear that your wife and her pug are enjoying their lawn.
