Here in Richmond (and of course, in the counties of Chester, Chesterfield, Hanover, Henrico, and Goochland, too), it is quite common to see lawns comprised of a mix of grass types—including both desirable grass and undesirable weed-like grasses. Meanwhile, the area’s heat, humidity, and tree root competition all present a unique set of challenges, though they are challenges that Virginia Green has the experience and expertise to overcome.

Throughout the year, Virginia Green will apply different combinations of fertilizers and pesticides to maintain a healthy and beautiful-looking lawn. The majority of these will be liquid applications (including fertilizer, weed control, fungicides, insecticides, and pre-emergents), while both lime and fall fertilizer applications are in granular form.

But whether granular or liquid, you will likely never notice these applications on your lawn—only the green results they bring! And once an application has dried, usually within an hour, your lawn is ready to be used by the people and pets in your home who enjoy it most.

With daily calibration of our equipment, as well as daily inventory reporting, you can be confident that Virginia Green always applies the proper amount of our lawn care products to your lawn. And all Virginia Green technicians have a current State of Virginia pesticide license, with certification in turf and ornamentals.
